Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Well where should i begin. I have been an employee workinig in Mission Settlement agency for about six months now. I can't even begin to explain how fraudelent this company is. Let me start from the beginning. I was hired by Denis K back in July. He introduced himself as the owner of the company, and looked like a well-mannered, honest, hard working individual. I was hired for an $8 an hour salary, but never recieved a paystub from the company. I was always written checks, and then told i would recieve a 1099 for the money. They never paid any payroll tax, and promised everyone a salary meanwhile everyone recieved a 1099. They never rented me any office space, gave me set hours i needed to be in the office, and gave me a card to clock in/clock out every morning and night. <<<<<ILLEGAL 101>>>>>

My job title was a telemarketer there. I would call leads provided by Experian credit bureau with individuals having 10k or more in unsecured debt, and 620 and less in a fico score. Everything seemed fine until i realized that something fishy was going on. Denis K provided me a script that "guaranteed" clients to settle their debts at 55 cents on a dollar. After doing my research there are absolutely no guarantees in this business as far an exact settlement before hands. In the script it also said that this program would help peoples credit scores because we are eliminating their unsecured debts, meanwhile this program would significantly harm their credit scores. The script told clients not to make monthly minumum payments  to their creditors that we would take care of it, meanwhile i found out later it is "illegal" to tell clients to stop making payments towards their credit cards, personal loans, and medical bills

Now it gets much better. When we would sign these clients up in the first two months i was there, we would take credit card payments from them for their first two payments. Denis K told me that this was ok, and it would be added to their balance that they enrolled in the program. Later i find out that this is "illegal". At this point i began questioning what kind of a chop shop operation i was involved in, and started doing some extreme research at this point, and came up with the following information.

The owner of the company was not Denis K, but the owner is an attorney out in Brooklyn by the name of Michael Levitis. When i saw the information available to him, i began to get sick in my stomach. http://www.ripoffreport.com/attorneys-legal-services/michael-levitis/michael-levitis-alpha-fundin-p2cb9.htm The following artical is a rip off report that indicates Michael Levitis was involved in a mortgage operation previous to his new venture debt settlement aka Mission Settlement Agency aka Alpha Settlement as another DBA. He would hire employees, let them build a pipeline of files, and terminate their employment to gain the commissions. His corporate adress is
Name: Law Offices of Michael Levitis & Associates Street: 1729 East 12th Street Brooklyn, ny 11229-1088 Phone: (718) 382-4300

Here is another article of an employee that worked at his mortgage company aka Alpha Funding Group in 2006. http://www.ripoffreport.com/Brokerage-Companies/Milan-Schwartz-Alpha/milan-schwartz-alpha-funding-decf4.htm. This article states that an employee of his deliberately misled the client about the program. 'What kind of people are working for this guy"? If he carried his company like this doing mortgages for clients, What kind of debt settlement company is he running? His debt settlement company has been in business for about 8 months now. Guys BEWAREEEEEEEEE. They are crooks, con-artists, and they will be coming for your money. I asked Denis K to show me actual settlements of clients he has enrolled in the settlement program, and he gave me the run-around for 2 months. They are complete crooks.

I've personally spoken to a number of clients as well as know of other employees that have had similar incidents with clients where money from these customers was taken and no services were provided. When the consumers came back to ask for a refund, they were told sorry. Some regulator should look at this company as their pretending to be a TASC memeber, which i should have realized right away was a complete fraud. We recieved a huge amount of complaints and then we switched our company name to Alpha Debt Settlement. At that point a number of employees starting leaving the company, and thats when i made my exit as well.

Ladies and gentlemen enrolled in the Mission Settlement Agency or Alpha Debt Settlement program beware and go contact your local attorney generals office.

I just wish companies like this would shut down for good. While these clients are in financial hardship, companies like this are stealing clients hard earned money to make themselves rich.

""It is both a crime and shame that such a stellar company be the subject of
the untrue ratings of either former employees, and/or industry competitors""

Please tell me where the crime took place?  I'll wait.

beyond startling as to what lengths a disgruntled employee would go

#3UPDATE Employee

Wed, December 16, 2009

It is beyond startling as to what lengths a disgruntled employee would go to
besmirch the good name and reputation of a company for whom he/she was once
employed; but, due to either incompetence, or lack of performance, was
terminated and/or replaced.

The self-serving, slanderous, incoherent blabbering's of "Anonymous Nancy
and Hector" are a testament as to what primitive retaliatory measures such
an employee would in fact resort too.

The TRUE facts are anything but complex. Mission/Alpha Debt Settlement
Agency puts forth a maximum effort to assure that each and everyone of it's
clients best interest are promoted, and that their intended goal of living
life debt free is eventually achieved. Debt settlements occur on a daily
basis, and our highly competent staff, consisting of well trained customer
service representatives and debt negotiators, put forth a maximum effort to
address each of our client's unique set of circumstances; striving to assure
that our client's do obtain piece of mind with regard to their debt
situation.

I have been employed at Mission/Alpha Debt Settlement for over six months,
and am proud to be affiliated with such a professional organization.

It is both a crime and shame that such a stellar company be the subject of
the untrue ratings of either former employees, and/or industry competitors.
Unfortunately, given the modern day era of technology, anyone with access to
the internet can freely engage in such "badmouthing". That is the true
ugliness of it all.

Good for you Jenny.  I know for a FACT these companies are ripoffs.

If you're with a debt settlement company now and you have assets and you have a job you will get sued.  You will pay.  Trust me.

I love the rebuttal.  It's so high school.  No longer on the team.  Blah blah blah.  Make your cash grab and run dude,  best advice I can give ya.

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sat, December 12, 2009

jenny is just a disgruntled former employee, for whom things did not work out. She is mad and as all can see, very spiteful. Wow, to go to a point where she has to make up all these things about a large and respected company. Mission has  many happy and satisfied clients and our paperwork speaks for itself. Dont be mad, jenny, because you're not a part of it anymore.
