I fulfilled my 3 year contract with Monitronics. 30 days prior to my contract expiring I sent them a letter stating I wanted to cancel. I had to send the letter because they advised me it had to be in writing and had to be signed, with our passcode attached. This was in September 2006. It is now February 2007 and I am still getting this drafted out of my bank account.

When I call Monitronics they tell me "oh sorry we didn't receive the fax" (I have fax confirmation of the 4 times I have faxed this same letter). At one time I was even told by the representative "Oh I've talked to you before" and she wouldn't even cancel it! I don't see why it's so hard to cancel something. Instead, they refuse me a manager and continue to take the money out of my account ($45 a month now for 5 months!). How long does this have to go on?

I gave this company my money for 3 years and never did they not get a payment and this is how they thank me!? I hope there is a big class action lawsuit against these people one day! Until then, I will continue to call them every month that I get this money taken out of my account! Companies like this should not be allowed to continue doing business anywhere!
