I moved from a home in Georgia in November 2005. I sold the home in June 2006. I sent a very nice letter in early June to THE ONLY ADDRESS provided, thanking them for their service, and to please cancel my service and send me a final bill, as I still had 6 months or so left on the 3 year contract. Personally, I think that is a reasonable approach.

It is now late July, and I received a nasty letter saying I closed my account, and they are charging me $22.50 for their trouble, in addition to the monthly fee for a service I asked be canceled.

Then to top it off, after an hour on the phone to the number they are going to use in the rebuttal, they say Oh, we didn't get that, you sent it to the wrong place... BUT they have my new address on their nasty letter... so you tell me, did they get the letter, or do they make a practice of dishonesty? It appears after reading the reports here, they make a practice of disception. Anyone interested in a class action suit? You know we are not the only ones they do this too...
