At least, to our knowledge, there had been a few recorded reports on Move4Less malpractice that were published...and for sure, there have been lots which were off-the-record, in fact, an authority had already reported them for the illegal use of their logo in their website and and flyers/office forms...since they have already been reported to the consumers protection task force...let the investigation process get the truth out..as we all know, anomalous practices don't pay!

Appropriate Reports submitted to Nevada Consumer Protection Task Force...let them handle the process...accusation of blackmailing is purely biased opinion. There has already been an official report that Move4Less is illegally using logos of a very reputable organization and a complaint has been elevated to Bureau of Transportation, plus the fact that the reports in this ripoffreport website since 2005 is similar to this new case...now, do you still call this a blackmailing...? Not too many people can pursue a case this far...Facts of the reports are being scrutinized by authorities..and that's all that matters.. proving a consumer's stand point based on actual experience and facts is never called blackmail...FYI, please.

This report was posted by Ms. Nellie Schwab. Ms. Schwab did not post her name on this report because she is lying and attempting to blackmail our company into paying her for her lies and deceptions. It started when she contacted Move 4 Less about her moving to California. During the inventory process, she continuously said no, that item is not going, so she was given an estimate based on 571 cubic feet. The estimator (Mike) clearly explained to her that packing materials were no included in the price. He also explained that the FREE insurance if for $0.60 per pound per article, and that it was not allot of insurance, but it was free. Mike further explained that she should purchase additional insurance and was given pamphlets to several insurance companies that sell moving insurance. Before leaving, he gave her a copy of Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move, which is published by the United States Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The pamphlet thoroughly explains all insurances. Rina followed up with several e-mails and phone calls that also explained the same things. On the day of the move, Ms. Schwab told the job supervisor (Leron) what was going, and her new list was 229 cubic feet more then her original list. Leron explained that the extra cubic footage would extra, but at the same price per cubic foot. He also explained that small loose items could not be loaded without being boxed. Ms. Schwab authorized the moving crew to finish packing (so she would not have to), which included extensively more then just a few boxes and selected items. Ms. Schwab signed all the papers before any work was done. By the end of the day, several of the movers complained about Ms. Schwab's foul and abusive attitude, and threatened to walk off her job site. The next day, Ms. Schwab called the office several times demanding a refund, claiming she was never told about packing materials being extra, and that she never signed any paperwork authorizing it (yet we have the signed papers). Furthermore, she was quite adamant about not wanting to pay for the extra cubic feet that she added to the load for her troubles, we should ship them for free. After she was told that the charges would stand, she was very abusive using several profound words, and hung up. On the delivery day, Michael III did charge her $150.00 additional for a long-carry & 3rd floor delivery, meaning the truck had to park about 200 feet from her 3rd floor apartment and the move-in crew had to carry everything up the 3 flights of stairs (by the contract, 1st floor & 75 feet of carry is free, each additional foot is $1.00 per foot & each additional floor is $75.00). While unloading, Mike had to call LAPD to their address due to the verbal abuse that she and her husband were inflicting on the move-in crew. After she was moved in, and the crew rearranged her furnishings several times (she could not make up her mind where she wanted her furniture), she expected them to assemble brand new, never opened, still in the box furniture. Our policy is that we reassemble what we take apart (i.e. beds, table legs, etc.), and she was advised several times that we would not assemble her new furniture. After she called the office, cursing at several customer service reps, the decision was made to call the crew, tell them to collect all their equipment, and leave. The next day, she again called the office threatening that she would file a lawsuit against the company, contact every government agency and file complaints, and post bad reviews online if we did not issue her a full refund. Ms. Schwab, you will not be issued a refund. I apologize for any alleged damage that your shipment sustained. I also encourage you file an insurance claim against the alleged damage. The phone number the claims department is 954-217-3082. Please note that filing a false insurance claim is against the law and that with your past history, a through investigation will be done.
