I was shocked when I read the negative comments about Mr. Sandless. I employed their services and have nothing but good things to say about them.
My original hardwood floors were a mess! When I renovated my home (which was built in 1968) I didn't use drop cloths to cover the original hardwood flooring because I knew I was going to carpet the entire house. I spilled and spattered paint over the entire floor and was careless with the drywall mud when finishing the walls. I screwed the floor down in dozens of places to eliminate creeks. I was sure that the floors would never be presentable.
But many years later, I decided to replace the carpet, and when I ripped it up, I decided to look into refinishing, just for the heck of it. I suspected the floors were beyond repair--they seemed to be destroyed. A friend had mentioned Mr Sandless, and said she was very pleased with the price and the results. I thought, "surely, her floors weren't ruined as mine appeared to be."
I called Mr Sandless and not only do my floors look AMAZING, but they were quick and very courteous. I highly recommend this company. I was surprised to read this bad review of them. I have nothing but good things to say about them--and believe me, I'm very particular. They even fashioned a beautiful 4 inch transition that matches my wood perfectly. They trimmed out the entire main floor of my house. It's been 3 years and I'm still very pleased with the work.
I am looking to refinish my bedroom floors now, and it seems that the Mr Sandless location I contacted before is no longer there. I found this site while searching for them. Are they out of business??? I hope not. I will continue to search for them in hopes of hiring them again.
If anyone knows whether or not they are still in business, please advise.

I filed this out of anger and frustration. The above story is a lie and I am trying to get it deleted from the site. -Susanne

I wrote the first part out of frustration and haste. Mr Sandless Bethesda has called me back and is willing to negotiate a refund even though I wouldnt let them come back and try to fix the floors. They have been really understanding about this situation and very very professional. I am sorry that my floors were not good candidates for their service. If you have tired but overall good conditions. I recommend this service and Mr. Sandless bethesda specifically.
