My GMC Yukon was taken in for autoride problem and when the car was returned 3 door locks failed to lock. Shortly after I left the dealership I noticed the problem and called my service rep Rene. He said bring it in an they would take a look at it. I brought it in and they gave me a hard time and said they didn't break it. After I persisted they had their technician check it out and said it would cost $600 dollars to fix it and that was at their cost. This was unacceptable and I felt since it worked when I brought it in they should fix it on their dime. The service manager Mark Pavay got involved and was rude and downright obnoxious. He wasn't helpful and wouldn't budge on helping. I didn't believe that three actuators could go out at the same time. Mark assured me this was normal and after all my car has 110,000 miles and this should be expected. (GMC's SUCK) Furthermore he said he had a similar problem with his GM vehicle at ~80,000. I didn't trust their diagnosis and went to another repair shop. Long story short the problem was with a relay and re-seating it fixed the problem. The other shop didn't even charge me. The fact that Mullahey couldn't figure this out causes me great concern. Is it that they don't know how to diagnose problems or is it they were trying to rip me off. I believe the latter they knew exactly what they were doing. Regardless I saved over $600 dollars by getting a second opinion. Do yourself a favor and don't trust these crooks. Take your car to a reputible dealer.
