Musician's Friend False Advertising of Shipping and Delivery Dates for Christmas Medford Oregon
I ordered two guitars for my sons at Christmas time. I placed the order on the 17th with the understand that orders placed by the 18th would arrive for Christmas delivery. I also read on their web site were orders in stock shipped with 48 hours.
My order was not shipped in 48 hours and in fact was shipped so late it is not scheduled to arrive until the 28th - a week after it was processed. I researched these items and decided to order from this company becuase they had a good price and quanities in stock. Apparently that means in stock but not to be shipped on time.
This was a large item for my boys at Christmas and it is going to make tomorrow appear as if Santa missed the boat. I can only hope that each and every employee at Musican's Friend has young children who end up with late deliveries and that those parents experience the joys of disappointing their kids. Yes I could have ordered sooner, but the point is - don't promise what you can't deliver. If you can't deliver then close your doors becuase you don't deserve a business license when you lie.
And as if all this wasn't bad enough, you can't get anyone on the phone and I have emailed them repeatly with no response. Great service experience. Merry Christmas to you to !
