MWI Connections rip-off Omaha Nebraska
During either the last week in Dec or the first week in Jan. I called the 800 number from an infomercial selling the Pasta Pro Pot. The person who answered took my information and then proceeded to try to get me to sign up for various free trial offers. Finally I agreed to a 30-day free trial of an entertainment package. I figured when I received the infomration I would cancel.
My credit card was not charged for the Pasta Pot until Jan 24, 2003 and I recieved the shipment from the about a week or so later. I did receive the large and small pot and cheese grater along with recipe booklet I had been promised. There was no packing slip or any other
identifying material in the package that would
tell me who had shipped it. There also was not any thing pertaining to my free trial offer.
To this day I have not recieved one thing concerning the free trial entertainment package. On Feb 7, 2003 I discovered I had been charged $96.00 by a company called MWI Connections. I had no idea who they were so I called my credit card company and they gave me a phone number to call.
When I called a person named Sharon proceeded to find reasons I should not want a refund. After being persistant I was told I would get a refund and it would show up on my statement in a month or two. I can't see why it would take that long. This company is definitely ripping people off and something needs to be done about it.
