Chastity, you did a couple of things wrong. First, the diet patches. Won't work. Won't lose weight. Waste of money. Same with diet pills, diet wraps, diet suits, diet you-name-it. Second, giving out your credit card number. Big mistake. Especially to a web business. There are still honest people. You won't find them on a web site, selling fake diet aids. Yes, some people can still be trusted. But, it seems like they are getting to be fewer and harder to find every day. They get away with this because nobody is in a position to stop them. There is only one way to stop this kind of thing. Never buy anything with a credit card, a debit card, or a check. Never! Always pay cash. Buy the item in person. See what you are getting before you hand over your money. Don't trust the world. Look at all the trouble it cost you. Your local drug store has diet patches. Of course, you won't lose any weight by using them. But, at least you could see what you are getting for the money. And, they could only take what you are willing to pay them. Whenever you hand over a number, the company could empty your account if they wanted to. They could copy a check and forge a much higher amount. They could debit your account over and over until it is empty. Don't use these things. Use plain old cash. Go to the store. Pay in person. See what you're getting. Save your receipt to return it if you are not satisfied. I'll bet you never make this mistake again. On the plus side, you may actually lose a pound or two because of all the stress from this nonsense. Read all the reports others sent in about how they were cleaned out when they gave out their numbers. You're not alone. Once enough people stop trusting these debit/credit/checking/atm numbers, they will stop using them. Once that happens, the fraud web sites will dry up and disappear. That's the only way to stop this kind of fraud. Good luck trying to get your money back!
