Myron A Grace puts postings on Craigs List for casting t.v. shows "to be sold to networks nationally and internationally". Makes it all sound good then after a few e-mails back and forth he then tells you it's going to cost you money.. to be in a t.v. show.. or a movie.. Cost money?? We're supposed to be getting paid to act in the show/movie!!
And he doesn't want a check or a money order or anything... He specifies - "You will have to pay a one-time application fee of $199, through a Greendot Universal reload card that can be bought at any Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens, or Wal-Mart. The cost of the card is $5.00. The fee pays for all scripts, script updates, weekly notification and updates on the project through email. Also any other paper work that needs to be provided for you. Please email reload number once the purchase has been made."
Once you send him this card it's as if you've given him cash. Then there were some follow up e-mails, letting us know each time a new actor got cast in the show.. I am in contact with one of the other actors who also sent him money.
DO NOT SEND THIS MAN ANY MONEY!!!!!!
The filming dates were changed w/o any explanation, then for months the only e-mails I got mentioned NOTHING about the show, it was basically him begging peopleto "invest" in him making these so called pilot episodes and movies. Then the rescheduled dates for filming came and went, no word of even having a rehearsal! CLEARLY, this is a scam.
I want my money back and I'm sure I'm not the only one. If we all get together and go after this guy for our money, we gotta get it!!
