NAC - National Advertising Center - Entertainment Buzz - Aqui Y Ahora - GREEN, REPORTER On The Town Video Reporter Brad E., NAC, came to my business in March, 2009 to sell me ad in magazine "Green", to be distributed in Stater Bros., Beaumont, CA I paid the annual fee, but the magazine had never been seen locally. Brad E. from National Advertising Cervices came to my place of business and offered an ad space in "Green" magazine. I just started a business and was looking for places to advertise. The contract I signed stated that this magazine will be distributed in our new Stater Bros, very popular place in my town. I paid $148.00 for the art work.
It took me at least a month to get the ad the way I wanted, after I approved it I immediately got a bill for the first installment plus a payment charge. I called the corporate office and talked to Trish in billing, and she made me a deal only $690.00 for the whole year, they, as she explained, had a special promotion. I paid over the phone using my debit card. She said that the shipment of the magazine will begin June 1st, 2009, and by the 15th it will be distributed in Stater.
This is the end of August, and nothing had been distributed. I called and left messages with billing department and with Brad - nobody returned my calls. I feel very discouraged to be ripped off like this, but I learned my lesson - I will never advertise in any kind of publications, unless it is a local newspaper. I would gladly join any law suite to see those people stopped.

The new issue of Green Magazine (October-November 2009) is in the local store, but my ad (I paid for the annual subscription) is not there. Looks like one time ad (in August-September issue) cost me over $800.00. It is a shame how they take advantage of small business owners!

After I had complained to this site and to BBB, the NAC finally began distributing the magazine at the correct location! Thank you for allowing me to tell my story!
