Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to Branchbrook on March 4th of 2012 to look into an above-ground pool.  I explained to the salesman that I would only buy one if I could dig into the ground partially.  My husband and I were told that there was a prior years model on special that not only could be dug in partially , but that could even go into the ground completely for a few hundred dollars.  The pool was $1200.00.

I later found out that not only wad digging in the pool way more than a few hundred dollars, I would also need extensive electrical work that I was never told about and would not be able tt use the ladder I bought if digging in the pool (after the salesman showed us how it could be adjusted if digging it in).  I found out about all of these costs after I had already purchased and paid for the pool.

In total my $1200 pool has cost us almost $8,000.  After all of this aggravation I could have simply gone elsewhere and purchased an in-ground pool.

To add insult to injury when the installation took place last week and the boxes were opened that branchbrook delivered we learned that they sent broken pieces and I had to go to the store to get new pieces while the installers sat at my house waiting.

As I have explained numerous times to Candice in the store, Kevin the district manager, and to Andrea (supervisor), Dale and Taylor in customer service, I would not have purchased the pool if it could not be dug in to the ground and I was assured that not only could it be dug in partially, it could even be dug in totally if so desired.

At the time of the sale we were assured that this would NOT void the warranty.  I only found out that the warranty would be voided when the excavator told me, at which time it was too late as he had already dug the hole.

I spoke with Candice and Kevin and he assured me that he would contact the manufacturer and have them provide something in writing to not void the warranty.  After a few days I followed up with Kevin as he never called back.  When I finally got a hold of him he told me he was mailing me something to ensure the warranty would remain in effect.  When I still received nothing in the mail I went to the store a week later and Candice called Kevin while I was standing there.  He told her he would email me that day a correction for the warranty.  Another 2 weeks have passed and I have received nothing via email or regular mail.  I have now been told on 3 or more  separate occasions that Kevin was sending me the corrected warranty  - how many more times is he and NAMCO going to lie to me???

Candice also asked Kevin while I was in her store what they would do for me for all of my trouble and he refused to do anything to compensate me for the lies, misrepresentations, or the fact that I now have a pool that I may not be able to use because I cannot use the ladder I was sold and I cannot afford a deck which branchbrook so helpfully keeps telling me I should install.

Due to the issue with trying to figure out how to get into the pool as using the ladder would now be an issue we got multiple estimates for a deck as that was the suggestion from Branchbrook and the cheapest estimate was for $12,000 which we cannot afford so we are now stuck.

I have sent all of this information to NAMCO corporate and have explained the situation to their customer service reps numerous times and every time I call to follow up I get no help or resolution.

On one occasion I was told by customer service that we would need to take the ladder out or it would crack in the winter.  How can I remove it I was told to bury it in the ground since I could not afford a deck the response from NAMCO too bad!

Every time I have tried to get help they refuse to speak ith me and have now told me that the ladder they told me to dig in to the ground has to be remobed or it will crack when I told them that I cannot remove it as I dug it in as instructed they said it was not their problem.

Basically Branchbrook in Brick and NAMCO have done nothing but lie to us, mislead us, cost of thousands of dollars and then has refused to do anything to help us make this situation right.  And if someone from their organization tells us one more time to build a deck as their solution to fixing the problem they have caused, I am going to scream.  That is not only an unacceptable solution, it is absolutely infuriating as I have no $$ for a deck, especially when Branchbrook has caused me to go into debt with all of these other expenses I was not prepared for.  How is it acceptable for a company to treat its customers this way.

But if you take something like a plastic bleach bottle and fill it half way up with water and tie it to your ladder it will keep the ladder from getting damaged and of corse your going to need atleast 4 and 6 would be better, just tie them against the legs and they will absorb most of the pressure, unless it gets down around 0 and stays there for a month, but I don't think you will have to worry about that.

Sorry I can't help you with the rest.
