National Event Staffing - Freedom Jolly National Event Staffing Does Not Pay Their Models - Beware of NES and Freedom Jolly Los Angeles And Toronto, Ontario California and Ontario, CANADA
My story is similar to all the other reports. I worked two jobs for National Event Staffing - Freedom Jolly was the booker on both jobs. The first job was January 7- 10, 2007. Second job was July 18, 2007. I have e-mailed, called, left messages, sent certified letters, dropped off my paperwork at their LA address (which is a P.O. Box). I have e-mails from Mr. Jolly saying he owes me. Got a couple of e-mails(last year) from account services saying they'll look into it. I was very patient and polite for months.
Still no money.
This year I filed a small claims lawsuit against them - but the judge couldn't do anything because they are located in Canada and I don't know if they actually have an office in Los Angeles. The judge suggested I file a Fraud case against the company. I don't have the means to do that.
I reported them to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. Would love to get a Class Action Lawsuit against them. If we all report them to the FTC - maybe something will happen.

They have a professional looking website and offer great pay to tempt models into working for them. Beware - for more complaints check out:
