National Moving Network is just a broker. But 90% of the time, they hire either AY Transport or Progressive Van Lines, two companies that are actually one company. Theresa is the Queen Bee of Customer Service there, and her lovely personality has been well documented here, including comments from Theresa directly. If your move was in June of 2004, then you're past the 90 day window for filing an insurance claim. But you should call 1-888-DOT-SAFT and file an official complaint. Then, once you are sure which company moved you, go to either the BBB of Southeast Florida (Progressive) or the BBB of Silicon Valley (AY Transport). Then contact the Attorney General of the state, and if it was AY, call the California Public Utilities Commission. They're tough on CA movers.
