I got signed very micely with the company for my home warranty. They took the money from the credit card and never sent a contract paper to me saying the cancellation policy.

One day due to the breakdown of my Heating system, my wife contacted them but they said to start the service after 1 month of the payment. I did not know that. But when I tried to see the system myself I could able to fix it and it started working. I think, there was some problem with the controller switch. By switching it off for some time it started working. Then I asked to cancell the service as the information was not passed to me correctly. The customer service representative begged me over the phone to keep the service for some more time and promised to provide better service in future. After a month the same heating system stopped working. I contacted the warranty again; but this time they said as its the same system they need a previous service detail. I explained him every thing saying the I did not call any one to fix it and the heating system is still not touched by any one. The person started yelling at me and told me that I am lying. I told him to send some one over here and if the engineer says that the system is opend since its installed, I wil give him $100. But he cancelled my request and again yelled at me. Then I got a handy man to fix it. The problem was with a pipe which activates the ignitor. By cleaning the small pipe it got fixed. Then I called nationwide to cancell my service as the request was not handled properly. Now he is saying that the cancellation policy does not allow that. I put a dispute on my credit card saying that I did not sign any contract to follow the cancellation policy. And the service is so poor and the people working there are so bad behaved.

My feeling is these people are there to live on others money. In a country like USA this is very disgusting. Ther must be some rule to fix these kind of companies.

I am not sure how its going to be fixed, but some day the company and the people who are cheating others will be punished severly by the Lord.
