I did the survey thing also. I was really going to take to two weeks trial though. So I go through, enter my credit card and everything is hunky dory. So I think. I get to really thinking about it and then I remembered I had NetFlix when they first came out and had discontinued them. Well, I go in to cancel the account within hours. Literally. A few days later I get a overdraft notification in my mail box. So I go on line to my bank to see what has happened. Seems that Net Flix put through their charge for membership and that shorted another transaction so they put me in the whole for quite a sum of money! I immediately went to call Net Flix and as you stated they are not the easiest to locate a number on. I finally get through... now get ready for this. Because I was a member years ago, I was not eligible for that 2 week trial. I never did see the fine print the gentleman told me was there (I am always reading fully what I agree to, so I must have really not seen this one!) and they refunded my money... problem being that they overdrafted my account. If that charge had not of gone through I would not have overdrafted. Bottom line is I did not get my overdraft charge(s) back and be sure a POUR over any company's policy's! Lesson learned!
