New Beginning Association Door to door charity solicitation Seabrook Texas
A beautiful, young, African American female named La Tanya came to my house stating she is trying to help young, disadvantaged women get a better start on a life career. She was very professional and convincing that as a manager of this charity organization, she was really trying to help women become more independent through offering resources and education opportunities. She offered magazine sales to benefit her organization as high as 60%.
She showed me her list of my neighbors with comments that they wrote about how professional she was and told me to call the 1-800 number anytime and ask for La Tanya since she is the only La Tanya with this organization.
Minutes after she left my house my neighbor called me to tell me she saw "New Beginning Assoc." on this website. Someone else wrote a description of this same scam from Chicago, IL. with that saleswoman's name also La Tanya. So did she move here to TX, or are they all named La Tanya? I tracked her down a few blocks away and got my check back. She did not defend herself when I told her that I saw this scam on the computer.
