Nissan of melbourne is not honoring their extended warranty for radiator and transmission repairs as it clearly states in their wording: "As with the prior extension, this extension of warranty on the radiator assembly will cover damage caused to other affected components, including the vehicle transmission, as a result of an internal leakage condition in the radiator assembly. However, existing powertrain coverage applicable to the transmission (5 years/60,000 miles) otherwise remains unchanged."
I am mother of 4 children that has to drop off my kids at 3 different schools and this is my only form of transporation. I have had a pattern of Nissan Melbourne not doing what they should be doing with the repairs of my vehicle. I am the only one working and am a Florida Headstart parent representative board member. I feel this issue needs to be investigated because they are not honoring their own warranty to cover the repairs for the radiator and transmission.

What is the nature of the radiator problem? As per what you quoted, the only time the warranty covers the transmission is when their is an internal leakage problem and no other. Transmission fluid flows thru the radiator in its own separate passage ways to cool the fluid. If those separate passage ways leak and coolant mixes with the transmission fluid then the warranty covers the transmission, as per your information. Not all radiator problems result in such leakage. You will need to prove your transmission fluid has been diluted by coolant.
