Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In 2002 we went to Nssan of Mlbourne to purchase a Nissan Sentra. However we found a 1 year old Ddge Sratus there and like it better than the new Sentra. They took our 96 Blazer in on trade and gave us 1700.00 for it.

The next day we got a call from the dealership. They told us we were to upside down to work the deal and we would have to lie to the finance company. They wanted us to tell the finance company that the car we got was fully loaded when it is a base model.

When the finance company called the next day we told them the truth that is was a base model.

One hour later the dealership called screaming so we went down there. The finance manager told us that lieing was the only way the deal was going to happen. So since our Blazer was in perfect shape we said we wanted it back.

They informed us that they had already sold it to another dealership. i was pissed and not going to lie. I left there and went to my parents house to visit them. On the way their I see a used car lot with a big sighn that read 96 Chevy balzer for sale great shape $6995.00.

That afternoon I aranged for a test drive after finding out it had the same color, options and mileage as my blazer. When I got there they said it was out on a test drive. I left and called them later. Well then I was informed that they had other SUV's if I wanted to see because the blazer in question was stollen on the test drive. Come to find out it was my Blazer and it had been damaged to the point that I didnt want it.

So I lied to the finance company and got the dodge for way over book value. I cant even get rid of it due to the fact I am so upside down. If the car had rims, sunroof, leather, compass,V6 and cd changer it would be worth more and I could get rid of it but I cant. i hope it last. Please help even today my old Blazer would be worth $5300.00 three years later.

It seems as though you forgot to do your homework before going to the dealership. While I in no way condone the dealer's actions, you do have to share some of the blame. You should have known the payoff figure of the blazer and the value of it. There are numerous web sites which will tell you the value of vehicles for both private sale and trade-in. You should have also researched the costs of the Stratus. I understand you originally were going to buy a Nissan but before you enter into any agreements, do the research. Never take a vehicle off the lot without first having FIRM financing in place. Check with the lender if unsure. You let your emotions overide your intelligence. Never let a salesperson coerce you into signing. Sit back and think about it. The vehicle will probably be there tomorrow. If not, there are numerous others out there.
