Received a letter & check for $4950.00. Letter From a Mrs. Lane Pederson Instructed me to call a Mr. Tony Edward at 1-647-887-6855 and to cash the check and pay back $2950.00 by a wire transfer with-in 10 days to receive a payment of $120,000.00.
Check is drawn on a Consolidated Citrus Limited Partnership of FT, Mayers FL. on Bank Of America Jacksonville Fl. Check is addressed to my nick name? And letter was Just Dear Sir/Madam.
Had My Bank do a search on the letter and check they said the check is fake on found no listing for this company or a Mr Tony Edward or Mrs. Lane Pederson at City Financial. be careful if you receive one of these and don't get left with a bad check and someone else has your money!
