Northwest Relocation inflicted unreasonable emotional stress and financial burdens upon me during my recent relocation across country.  They caused unneccesary havoc and disaster in my plans.

Initially, they told me my goods would be delivered within three (3) days with twenty-one (21) days being the longest from the day of pickup from my home.  They blantantly lied to me, as I have discovered, they do to all potential customers.  They told me that the expected date of delivery would be April 18th at 8:00 am.  I was told to be at the locale on that date or they would start to charge me $75 or more for each hour late.   Well, I left Colorado heading for St. Louis, MO on April 14th at 2:00 am; arrived in St. Louis at 3:30 pm the following day.  I contacted NWR on Monday, April 16th to verify the April 18th time of delivery.  NWR advised me they needed to check with the driver; knowing at the time that my goods were stored in their so called warehouse (which by the way, I never authorized) and the driver had no intention of picking them up for delivery on the 18th.  If I didn't have friends in St. Louis, it would have been hotel charges up the yang yang.

These sadistic and unscruplous, so called business people jerked me around from April 16th through the later part of April with one lie after another in regards to delivery of my goods.  FInally, after extreme pressure, they claimed my furniture would be delivered on Wednesday, May 2nd for sure.  Ofer (the driver) expressed this to me for sure via a taped telephone conversation.  He telephoned  stating that he left Denver on Sunday morning and would arrive in SC on Wednesday, May 2nd around noon.  On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, I left St. Louis with a friend bound for SC.  We drove all night and arrived in SC at 7:30 am, Wednesday, May 1st.  I contacted Ofer around 10:00 am to verify the arrival time.  Ofer claimed he ran into a snag in GA and would deliver my goods for sure by 5:00 pm.  Around 3:00 pm, I called him again and was told 7:00 pm and the story started to escalate from there.  In essence, Ofer had no intentions of delivering my furniture on May 2nd.  He fabricated a story that the drop before me in Atlanta was problematic and had to be placed in a storage.  I had to incur hotel costs because NWR refused to cover the charges. When I demanded to speak to the President of the company to be reimbursed for their issues, they refused to transfer the call.  Later they called me back and tried to book me in a bed bug infested Days Inn.  I refused and asked for the $99 that the hotel charges and apply it toward a venue of my own choosing.  Kevin refused to reimburse those funds.  I was able to procure a local resident rate at a nice hotel for roughly $30 more than the nightly rate at the sleaze bag Days Inn.

Taking this company to abritration is a joke because you wind up paying for that as well.  This company has bad customer service and business practices.  They don't tell you they remove your furniture once it leaves your home and throw it into a warehouse you have never seen.  My insurance company would not allow further insurance on my items because they were removed from where I last saw them.  Their insurance company ( Anthem) is a joke as well.  Everything has to be mailed to them.

If you google these people, you see the same complaints over and over.  I sold my sofa that was stunning because they damaged the leather with scrapes and tears in several places.  This sofa was a $5000 item and stunning.  They broke so much crystal and gorgeous pieces.  They damaged and dented a beautiful silver chest worth over $2000.  When the truck arrived, my furniture was thrown in with another persons items mixed in with mine.  They had another customers Harley in with my items and actually took it off the truck and left it in the parking lot for anyone to take, while taking my furniture in the house.

This was a horrible experience and I will never trust or use another long distance mover again.
