We have also been approached by USBancorp for a settlement. They offered to take off just over 50% off the lease, and set up payments over 3 years. I have further talked them down another 10%. I am not yet happy, because we will lose our rights to sue...but if I can get it down lower, I will be satisfied and call it a day. I suspect that they are worried they will lose in court, or that they contracts will be voided outright...but unfortunately I don't know for sure. Any other comments about USBancorp offers would be appreciated. Fighting Mad in New England

HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY US BANCORP WITH A CONTRACT OF THEIR OWN REDUCING THE TOTAL RENTAL EXPENSE FROM 257.00 A MONTH TO 169.00. OF COURSE THEY HAVE FAXED US A MODIFIED CONTRACT WHICH WILL NOT ALLOW US TO SUE THEM. HAS ANYONE BEEN CONTACTED WITH THE SAME OFFER. IS IT ADVISABLE OR IS THERE A CHANCE WE CAN GET OUT FROM UNDER THE RENTAL
