The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Rhett Kasparian during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Notus Human Capital.

Notus Human Capital offers specialized services in correlation with job searches and ways to improve your current work performance to individual consumers as well as companies. These services include the revision of resumes, writing cover letters, and interview coaching for individual consumers. Rhett Kasparian explained how their services benefits companies during outplacement, "they'll send them to our company...it's a good gesture for them, and it's part of the severance package to help those displaced employees."

Leads for Notus Human Capital are obtained primarily through referrals from satisfied clients, as well as organic searches through internet advertising. Clients often sing praises of their services due to Notus Human Capital's commitment to providing excellent service to the consumer, "every person we've worked with over the past 18 years we offer that service for life...we offer our help for no additional costs." Mr. Kasparian went on to express that a potential customer can request to meet with himself or another employee to go over their services, "very low pressure it's really an educational situation to really understand more about their situation, and then explain via a presentation how we can help them." During the onsite interview Mr. Kasparian was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that during the oftentimes trying and emotional task of finding a job clients have a difficult time managing their expectations. In order to remedy this Notus Human Capital makes sure to explain in detail exactly how they can help their clients. Additionally, if there is ever a perceived expectation that isn't met, "we talk to them."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Kasparian expressed that he believes some of the comments were made by a competitor due to the personal attacks made in the statement. Additionally, he expressed that a past client posted a complaint because Notus Human Capital reached out to them on a Saturday, "she was upset that he called on a Saturday when it was coming from a place of trying to go the extra mile to help." This company is a total scam. They sell you with a spreadsheet telling you how much money you are loosing by not working over a period of time. They say they have this big network that will help you find a job, but it is really just LinkedIn members who have nothing to do with Notus. Further, they charge a large fee, whereby they are supposed to do the work in finding you a job or new career, but end up putting all the work on you. I have yet to see or hear of any clients actually landing a job because of Notus or their so called network. Please do NOT give them your money. This guy is a Mormon shyster (I don't like referring to his religious preference, but it is clear that they don't have good business ethics). John Portland, Oregon

I was first introduced to Notus when I owned a mortgage brokerage and they sent me someone to do an 'informational interview' to learn about my industry. This person had no experience in finance and whose resume would never have made it to my desk. Long story short... I hired that person and eventually two others referred to me by Notus and they were all excellent employees. Fast forward several years - the mortgage industry had collapsed and I found myself seeking a new career and I had no idea how to do so. The job market was flooded with ex-mortgage execs and I had a hard time getting to speak to any decision-makers. I recalled my experience with Notus and called them. After quite a bit of deliberation, I decided to hire them. I'm glad I did. The original poster is correct - you have to do a lot of the work yourself. However, the guidance and support I received was excellent. I didn't go in expecting that I would just sit back and they would find me the job of a lifetime. I expected it to be a lot of work, but that with their help it would be contructive work. It took a few months, but they helped me through the process of determining what I'd be good at, what I'd enjoy doing and what jobs I realistically stood a chance of landing. I was able to find employment in a great industry where I continue to use the skills I honed in my 'first career'. In the end, I can honestly say that I felt that they earned their money. They also earned my referrals and I have two friends who also used Notus and were equally happy with their experience.

I had not heard of Notus until my friend, David, had spoken highly of Notus/Rhett.  Working with him helped him secure interviews and ultimately secure the position he was seeking within a short period of time after being unemployed for almost 2 yrs.

Keep in mind, David did not sit around waiting for companies to contact him, he was also proactive in his search while jointly working with Notus.

After hearing my friend's comments, I immediately started doing research on the company and saw the aforementioned, negative comments.  I kept researching and found nothing else derogatory about Notus.  My initial thoughts were, "not all can be 100% satisfied; there's always someone who will be unhappy/unsatisfied and it happens in any business."

After careful consideration, I decided to enlist Notus/Rhett to assist me in my job search.  I am content with the outcome of the work done by Rhett and I would highly recommend anyone to seek Notus and seek assistance -  "job searching" has become a highly specialized task and there are inherent tools on the internet which need to be pulled together to get the results you want.  And, Rhett is the person to help you!

I am also one that used this company and should have read more about them before using them.

It states that in their rebuttal to please read both sides. Also in their rebuttals it states almost the same exact thing both times. Maybe just a copy and paste by the company. They do not care about the individual. If they did they would return a call or return an e-mail. Instead they just ignore it and hope you just give up on them as I did.

Please do as they say and read all that you can before you give them any money.

Unfortunately, in this time of open Internet postings, someone can say anything they want about a company, or a person, without being fair or even accurate. It is important for us to make sure that as an organization, we conduct our business with the highest degree of integrity. To us, it is not a catch phrase, we truly do care about each individual we come in contact with, whether they become a client or not. So, when we saw comments like these posted here, we decided not to respond. However, we found in choosing not to respond it may give some, who without hearing the other side, the feeling that the comments are a reflection of who we really are and how we conduct ourselves, rather than an anomaly. That's not to say that we are perfect and have not made our mistakes. People have on a rare occasion slipped through the cracks and have waited longer than they should to be serviced appropriately. In any case, no matter what the issue, as has always been our practice, if there is someone who has a problem with our service we encourage them to email our President directly at [email protected] or please call 800.431.1990 and we will take whatever steps necessary to rectify the situation. Because of this gentleman's comments, and their inaccuracies, it is clear that we did not do a very good job at educating him on who we are, what we do, and what value our clients derive from our help. This is the first time anyone has mentioned it as a negative. Without exception, people have appreciated being more informed and found it helpful. Additionally, yes, we do indeed have a huge network, cultivated over many years, and use it as an integral part of our process. It is NOT the LinkedIn network, it is OUR network - using LinkedIn. If anyone else doesn't know how it is different, we would be pleased to show you. Lastly, yes, it is true we are not a recruiter, but proudly a Career Management Company (as our name indicates). Our clients do pay the fee and, yes, (gasp!) they do some of the work themselves. :) How much work a client does, and what level of service they desire, is the cost difference between our programs. There is no question though, that among Career Management Companies, no one does more for, and on behalf of, the client than we do.
