NuWave Does Not Honor Their Ad Libertyville Illinois
Ordered a bogo nuwave cooktop. With this order I was instructed to pay an additional $29.95 for shipping on a cookware set and 2 coated pans. I paid the additional $29.95. The 2 cooktops came in with no problems. They were also shipped in the same package.
When I called to see where the pans were, I was told that I could have the 2 coted pans, but would have to pay an additionl $29.95. If I wanted the cookware set, I would have to pay $59.99, plus another $29.95. This is a complete misrepresentation of what was promised from their infomercial.
I also had been offered 1 free carrying case. That did not come with the order. I did get that portion sorted out. I asked about returning everything, which I am allowed to do, but would not be refunded the $59.99 for 2 shipping charges. Like I said. Both cooktops were shipped together, but was being charged for 2 shipping charges.

First of all, what kind of person needs to use caps to make a point? Saying what you have to say in a mature articulate manner would have more effect. I'd like to bring out that if you are a representative of this company you lack the integrity and manners to rebuke a submission. Second of all, speaking of assumtions, it was not a 30 minute infomercial where I ordered it from or saw it. Third of all, shipping and handling for 6 of the items of that weight isn't $59.98. I swear, we have a lot of people in this nation who have enough time on their hands to watch infomercials and think they are armchair lawyers. Perhaps you were so excited to give your opinion that you forgot that not everyone has time to waste 30 minutes watching informercials, or maybe you just forgot that there are sources other than tv. Some people work for a living.

Im sure that if you listen and watch the commercial again you will see where they say, you get the SECOND item at a lesser price with the exception of additional PROCESSING FEE. Perhaps YOU were so excited that YOU missed that. Its not THIER fault that YOU assumed. When YOU assume you do so at your own risk. You do realize that there is a weight difference between ONE cooktop and TWO cooktops. That adds to the SHIPPING CHARGE!!! Which is WHY they tell you that the buy one get one free requires YOU to pay for EXTRA shipping AND handling. I swear its like we have a nation of slothful ignorant chair surfers. YOU saw only what YOU wanted to see and HEARD only what YOU wanted to hear. The REALITY is that the infomercial is FILLED with ALL of this information, how you could have missed it since its one of those 30 min ones is beyond me.
