Like many people on this site I was taken for a ride from the now infamous Scentura Creations Subsidary companies... NWO Enterprises.
Congradulations we'll see you on Monday" are the words that I heard in my group Interview on Thursday and I was to report to training on the following Monday @ 10:30 am. I was happy that there was still an obtainable job left in Arizona and that the pay and the hours seem to be decent as well. HA!!
I came to find out like everyone else that fell victim to this scam that this company was basically exploiting people to use their family and friends to buy what they call rendition scents. Ah, but that was only the first day. The second day of training is much more exciting...now they were asking me to pretend to be a person named LU-LU whom they explained was a flirtatios girl who basically will use her body and flirting to make a sale. Hmmmm...sounds as though I am a low grade hooker. They asked the men in the class to pretend to be Rico, as in the man equivilant to Lu-Lu...I must say this company doesn't discriminate they will encourage a man and woman alike to sell themselves...so-to-speak in order to get a sale.
But this isn't the bad part. The bad part is that on the first day of training Curtis Simmons tells us to write this down in our note books, "You will be paid $300.00 cash a week for training plus bonuses and incentives" Awesome right? Not exactly because when payday (apparently Saturday) starts to roll around Curtis explains that the first Saturday for new trainees is not payday but rather they must be employed for 7 days to get paid. Okay so that means our second Saturday with the company we will receive $600.00 dollars. I even face to face asked him this outside at break in front of many witnesses where he responded "YES"
Of course you know what comes next..I start to hear rumours that people have never been paid and they've been there for 10 to 12 weeks! They are so poor that they are shacked 5 deep in one apartment according to another employee who happens to own that very apartment. Obviously concerned but also wanting to approach this the right way I went home leaving the impression that I was happy and grateful for what they so often call "MY OPPURTUNITY".
I went home and did some research on NWO, I got nothing. Next I searched for Scentura Creations and bingo I hit the jackpot. I found the RipOff report with dozens of other complaints about Scentura and thier Sub-Contracted companies.
My next move was to call my local police station and news station. I am still waiting to get them exposed through the media. But I had the cops escort me to the office where I confronted Curtis and of course he denied everything and said he told us that we could make 300 in bonuses.Another truck full of lies from the mother of them all Scentura Creations.
The cops couldn't do much to get my money but I did file a civil suit today 3/31/05 which is the day after my research and the day of my confrontation with Curtis Simmons.
I am contacting the IRS as my next step because the whole nationwide scheme operates in cash and pays no taxes.
I am leaving out all the other things that everyone else said their reports because it is the same. The FFAAR, the lies, the music, the foul lnguage, and so on and so forth. Please email me if you would like to join my effort in suing this company into bankruptcy.

For the person above commenting on the training procedures: Most people get paid training when hired to a job. This company promises everything, and gives nothing. Yes if you are a good scammer and seller you MAY get paid well, but it takes far too long. If you have a lot saved then there is no problem...but for the working masses we need to get paid a reasonable amount so debt does not get stacked mile high. I have rent ($600), car payment ($220), credit card ($50 min.), and cell phone ($50), this adds up to $920 per month. This does not include food or gas, this job has a maximum potential of around $1,000/month from selling a lot of product. That is nothing, that means I only get $80 for other expenses per month. And as for the army and college, you get housing from the military and you get financial aid for college. You make a very stupid point. This is a typical pyramid scam, you only make real money from the "base" of the pyramid, the trainees. It is possible, but unlikely since the demand for "imitation" perfume is very low. Lower than what they tell you. They use psycology and lies to convince you that the market is real so you sell the product for them. That is how any pyramid scam works. About 1% actually make good money while the rest suffer from debt and wasted time. Thank god I read these reports before I went in to training. Thank you to everyone who posted this. I need a good job now, one with good paid training. If you are living with your parents then good luck, and godspeed. I am not, so I won't even waste my time!!! Don't fall into this scam, it will most likely break you. If you are a good scammer then good luck. I will not buy your stupid cheap perfume and/or cologne because I know of the heart break many people go through and I will not support this kind of business.

Hey leah. I was one of the lucky ones that left before training day. I am also concerned at the fact i gave them my very important info like SSN# ,address, and driver lisence #. I would also like to know what they are going to do with it.

I was there when tracey stormed into Curtis Simmons office.She forgot to mention that she was escoted off the property by the police after she started punching wholes in his conference room door screaming to the other people "get out because you don't get a pay check."Needless to say no one followed her because she was known in those two weeksfor being a little negative. Tracey & Leah you do not recieve a pay check but he tells everybody that before you are hired.When you go to college do you get a paycheck?NO! If you want to be a solider in the United States Military,DON'T YOU HAVE TO BE TRAINED FIRST? YES! In my experience of working with mr.Simmons i was taught to have: 1. Great Attitude 2. Honest with my-self 3. Trainabilty 4. Work Hard Ladies It seems to me You want A hand out....

I am over everything i have moved on and now have a great job that is real..I never went to the first day because i new it was a rip off..I was not going to waste my time..Now i have some questions for you..Did you ever get paid?? Did you have to go door to door??? Like they say you dont have to but everything i have read on this site that is what you do go and bug people..If you cant see the commens were from a while back i think we are both over it...Sorry it did not work out for you..Maybe like everyone else on here you dont like to scam people..

I worked for nwo for about four months, I quit because it just wasn't for me. NWO is not a scam company and tells you everything from the first day. you can make money and a career out of this buisness it is up to you. I think that when people like Tracy an Leah don't cut it they get mad and try to bad mouth the company. If you are not good at what you do just quit in peace. There is NO reason to be bitter about it. Move on with your life. and the thing about trace looking up Curtis's taxes is bull. You can look up someone else's taxes its not public information I know because my mom works for the Arizona Department of Revenue collecting taxes. I just want to let Tracy and Leah to know that they need to GET OVER IT! They are being ridiculous and need to grow up.

When i got there the place had 2 desk the walls were painted weird colors and there was loud music playing.I didnt think anything of it because they said they just moved there and were going out that night to get office stuff. I had my interview with Rob i did not fill out any paper work he had a notebook and just asked questions it last for 10min or so and then told me to come back on thursday with boss moss it was my finally interview. So i went on thursday and there were about 10 of us there or so, still no desk the same to and nothing has changed. Loud music and everyone had there notebooks. Well we went into the room with a bunch of fold up chairs and the girl started to talk i cant remember her name but she used bad words all the time and said do not ask questions till the end.. The whole time i was sitting there i could not figure them out i knew there was something weird about them.Well after all the talking was done they sent 3 people out then told us we got the job i was happy because i have 3 kids and i need a job bad.well then she said we have a 3 day weekend and to be in on monday at 1015 to the glendale office because the office we were in the air was broke. Well monday is coming and i am thinking about going just to see what they have to say and print this page out and give it to everyone there.I wish i new how to get a hold of the news station so i could bring them with me.. I hope they are caught very soon i will be going on monday just to see what they have to say.I am very scared because they have my social # my drivers # and my car plate #..
