Obesity Research Institute Lipozene Scam - $29.95 TV special will cost more than you can imagine Internet
Following a television ad promoting a $29.95 trial offer for the diet supplement Lipozene my wife called and placed an order. Unbeknownst to either of us, she was enrolled in an auto-shipment program.
First, the origianal order arrived. The order included the trial pack in addition to a full size bottel and another product labeled MetaboUp Plus. The total of the order including shiping and handling was $80.87. Since I was not privvy to the conversation to my wife and she was unclear as to the specifics of the tv offer we accepted the charge and paid for the product.
Over the two month period my wife lost no weight. She may as well have been taking powdered sugar pills.
Yesterday we received another 60-day supply of this useless junk. I immediately called and requested the 30-day money back guarantee offered on the packing list for an additional $82.22. I was told that because it was shipped on the auto-shipment program there was not a refund policy. I cancelled any additional orders and I will file a dispute with American Express.
My advise to you - if you want to try the product, which in ur experience is totally useless, buy it at WalMart.
Obesity Research Institute and Lipozene are a ripoff and should be put our of business for unscrupulous business practices.
