THIS COMPANY HAS FORECLOSED 9 TIMES OUT OF 12 MONTHS AND IS BILLING ME $850 FOR ATTORNEY FEE AND COLLECTION COST, A LEGAL FEE OF $200 , FORECLOSURE COST OF $753.62, A PROPERTY VALUATION FEE OF $34.74, AND LATE FEES OF $752.93.
I AM SO DUMB WHEN IT COMES TO LOANS BUT I REALLY DON'T THINK THIS IS LEGAL.
THEY HAVE MY PROPERTY AS COLLATERAL BUT HAVE NOT PAID THE PROPERTY TAXES IN 2 YEARS WHICH I ASSUMED THEY HAD TO PAY, HELP I AM SINKING FAST.
I AM A SINGLE MOM THAT DOESN'T WANT TO END UP LOSING MY PROPERTY AND HOME TO OCWEN.

Pay your taxes and Insurance yourself. Don't let Ocwen to do it for you.

Please, pay your taxes yoursef. Go to your Tax authorities and do it yourself. Accompany your action with letters explaining it to the Tax people,to the IRS, to Ocwen and to the FBI (local, state and national levels, and of course, to the Judge responsible for your foreclosure). Use Certified Mail and keep copies in different places, not only in your home. (Keep proof of your payments)In your foreclosure thing, don't mind that people saying you can't write to the judge. No one can accuse you of writing him a letter clarifying your situation. The judge, as everyboy else, can place the letter in a garbage can. But if you send copies of it to the rest of the universe...and if you keep mail proof with you...??? Do the same with your Insurance. Triple check every thing. Never confide in Ocwen. Keep hard copies, hard copies, hard copies.... Think of looking RIGHT in the presence of any public, media, court or judge. I know you don't want to think of any court because is too distressing. I know too well. I am also a single mother and I have done exactly what I am suggesting you to do. From now on get familiar with court and ask for help in your local place. INMERSE YOURSELF IN ALL THOSE SCARY PLACES. Be naked in front of the court handling your foreclosure. Don't let Ocwen to take your home away from your children. If labor pains didn't kill you, believe me, you can face this pain for your children too (will not kill you either). You are not alone. At this moment, many single parents are figthing for the same cause, and many families are hurt because of the same reasons. Learn that Ocwen is not going to be trusted. Whatever they tell you and write to you is not to be taken at face value. They are all maneuvers to steal time from you and hit you ferociously! Be careful with all your RE aspects. You need to control your RE movements and NEVER EVER BELIEVE OCWEN! Take the time to read as many ROR you can in this site. This is the best school for your defense you can find. Not even lawyers know what we, your brothers and sisters, know about Ocwen. All we know, we know by experience, and many cultured lawyers could not believe it because it's not in the books YET. You are afraid. That is perfectly normal and even desirable. It means you care about your children. I always sign my posts with a NEVER AFRAID phrase. It doesn't mean I am not afraid. It means: I DON'T CARE IF I AM AFRAID, I'LL FIGHT OCWEN ANYWAYS UNTIL THE VERY LAST MINUTE OF MY LIFE IF I NEED TO, NO MATTER WHAT... And I recommend this attitude to defend your family. You have grounds not to pay Ocwen the impound money. But, as of now, let them get the extra money (get a part time job and sacrifice even more). They will have to return it to you! Paying your mortgage and being honest alone will not suffice with the Ocwen Demon! I am telling you all of this with respect and a lot of simpathy because its my story too, and this attitude I am suggesting is helping me to keep my home. I got to be absolutely honest with a person like you. Understand we are using the same shoes. Also, and first and most important: send your notarized affidavit to Kewu Hanson, the lawyer conducting the class action against Ocwen in Hartford. His address and instructions about it are in this site. The goal is to get rid of those criminals that are a bad example to the decent children you want to raise for a better society. You are also protecting their roof. As a mother, that's your "genetic" obligation. The class action looks very good for the victims. Do not give up! Do not dismay! Ocwen is not better than your family. Your children have the right to enjoy the protection you want to offer them with the fruit of your hard labor and care. Pray dear, pray, and do whatever you have to. You'll find strenght and courage as needed in the way. Never Afraid.
