Omni North Leap ONL SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Buyer Beware! DO NOT purchase anything from OMNI NORTH LEAP!! ripoff Santa Ana California
If only I had seen this website before I purchased from Omni North Leap.
Like so many other complaints about them, it appears they are scamming everyone from the WEST COAST to the EAST COAST. They are apparently running ads in local newspapers with a local phone number. Then you are given a 800 number to call BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!
They tell you about outsourcing data entry you can do out of your home and how you will be sent a diskette with companies from your area code with an instruction manual. They also tell you not to mention their name and send out your resume FIRST. Then to follow up with a phone call. The cost is $79.95!!!
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS - I received the materials this week and it is WORTHLESS INFORMATION!
Many of the companies' phone numbers listed on the diskette are disconnected and when I did reach a working phone number, the company was irritated that North Leap had advertised their name without their permission!
Also, if you notice on the manual there is NO author,publishing company or date listed.
HOW DARE THEY SCAM EVERYONE! They have taken advantage of the American public and unfortunately these days many people are falling for it because they need some extra money.
I guess the old saying goes "If it is too good to be true, it is!"
TWO HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS:
FIRST, if you charged the materials to your credit card, get in touch with the credit card company as soon as possible and they will help you get your money back.
Be sure you send back the materials to the Box # listed on the envelope they sent you. Send it CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED. Your credit card company will need a copy of the receipt.
SECOND, get in touch with the postmaster of your city and show them the materials. They will notify the proper authorities.
Such a shame that there are so many corrupt companies like this one out there doing business and ripping people off!
