well, after all this fighting it's over. i just received my final rebate deposit. After doing the math all the time I've put into solving this comes to about $2/hr. Don't use tiger direct. if you do expect some hassle, do not under any circumstances expect to receive a rebate without investing an unjust amount time and energy. I'm looking at my fiance wondering why planning a wedding is so much easier than getting a rebate.

so i guess my they didn't make it this time... or some it seems, i was asked to fax a copy of the stuff i had (i don't have a fax), so i asked if just emailing the missing portion of my original submittion would suffice. i was told this would be okay. so i emailed it jan 11... and since then haven't seen/heard a thing. maybe that got lost on the internet?

last week i finally got ahold of someone, who told me to talk to tiger direct about getting an invoice with the proper address on it. after trying 6 times and hearing, "yes that address is on this invoice I'll email it to you", "i can't change the address on the invoice after it's sent", "what?"... i finally got ahold of someone (who checks her email too... much props to her) who wrote up a word doc in the tiger direct letterhead, and emailed it to me... granted it did take a couple of times to get the whole invoice on there, but she checked her email went i responded with "it's missing this.." so i've sent them off, i'm still a little confused about how the resubmittion form still asks for (requires) the original upc... i hope this isn't the case because tiger direct already has it! or even better there's the resubmittion form that doesn't require anything (not even itself!)... the system seems a bit buggy

i called last week from work and talked to some lady at the call center, after 6 minutes on hold. got cut off maybe 2 minutes into our conversation. just called today, get put on hold for what seems like a half hour, then the line went dead. what's the point of having an email/phone number if you don't pay attention to these things?
