Original Mattress Factory Another OMF RIPOFF , Internet
I was so glad to find this page and hope others will find it before they too become victims of these dishonest ppl.
My husband and I did a lot of searching before we purchased our mattress from OMF. The one we tried in the showroom was so much better than what they sent to us. It felt like someone had a fist in our backs and both ends of the mattress were considerably lower than the middle. When lying down our heads were going downhill. It was horrible. We went back to the store the very next day and was told that we had to go to the main showroom which was in another town about 40 minutes away, so we did. I should ad that we were surprised when our salesman told us that we would have to pretty firm with them.
It took forever to get to talk to someone once we told them why we were there. We stood there for at least 20 minutes (really) before someone talked to us. They did send out a person who went through all the antics of measuring this and that and laid down on the mattress. I kid you not, his head was so far down that his face turned red from the blood rushing to his head. He then had the nerve to say that there was nothing wrong with the mattress.
They would not take the mattress back because they called it used. At that point we tried to sleep on it once. They told us we could buy another mattress for another 25% of the price plus delivery. I told them it was unacceptable and that they could just give me the one in the showroom which was so comfortable. They said no, that hundreds of ppl. had laid on it and it couldn't be sold. It was so much better than what they delivered to our home. We ended up getting rid of the whole set and purchasing another elsewhere. They do NOT stand by their product, nor is their mattress a quality product. They lie and just want to make the sale. I really believe that they put good quality in the showroom only. Buyer be ware!
