Our Campus Markets distributes advertising through college freshman and transfe student packets giving them an air of legitimacy. They promise their linens will fit dorm beds as if dorm beds have an unusual size. They are simply Twin XL, easily found size in all stores in a college town. They are guaranteed to last the whole 4 years, easy to do since most students move out of the dorms after first or second year. Don't fall for these gimmicks.

Every day you visit the website they have a countdown clock with an "extra savings code". I was purchasing for the convenience of having everything delivered and thought the extra savings coupon was a nice bonus. Applied the code, saw a discount, pushed the purchase button and the discount dissapeared. Called early the next day, asked to have the coupon applied, the customer service rep refused. I asked for at least the savings of the day be applied, again refused. Once I asked to have my order cancelled I was told a credit would be applied. One week later called again, told no credit was to be applied, spoke with supervisor and explained what had happened. Was told this happened often and the situation would be remedied. One week later and still no adjustment to my credit card.

As for the linens and towels the quality is poor. The rug we ppurchased was a gaudy thing that looked like it's fabric was left over from cabaret boa manufacturing. Fan and lamp are of cheap plastic and don't hold. Returning an item would cost more than the credit they would apply.

The order was shipped without an email being sent to advise it had shipped. Only found out it had shipped when we were notified by the dorm that it was received.

Overall this is a dishonest company with poor quality merchandise and empty promises. Not even worth the convenience of having the goods delivered directly to the dorm.

It is shocking that reputable colleges advertise for this company. The rather official sounding flyers give the imporession this company is somehow affiliated with or endorsed by the colleges and that the students are being warned that buying from another company will result in sheets that don't fit. Colleges need to stop aiding this company.
