My 10 year old very healthy dog was having trouble getiing comfortable one monday,by the end of rhe day it was clear his hips and hind legs were bothering him and he was in pain

The next morning i took him to the above mentioned veterinary specialists for a emergency exam. I had to charge 520 dollars on my aarp credit card before my dog was looked at,they told me it would be around 300 dollars

the exam was inconclusive, no solution to the existing problem;i was to to take my dog home and medicate him,i was perplexed and confused with no answers.

after one day the symptoms were worse,i called the facility and was told rudely to let the meds set in. 8hours later he was in more pain and barely moving his back legs, i called the facility and was kept on hold and told i could bring him in,but should wait until morning.

My dog could not move his back legs at this time, i called another vet took my dog in and he was diagnoised with a herniated disc and needed surgery yesterday..i took him to the facility, i had to apply for a 5,000 dollar line of credit before they could do any more testing or surgery.it took anothe 5 hours before he was operated on

i waited hours and was told to go home they would call me. i was not allowed to see him for 24 hours. i went to visit him and he was in terrible pain to the point i do not think he knew me. the next day he looked at me and tried to move but could not,day 3 was the worst he was not the same something happened, a night nurse told me he had a fever, i was also told a cathater was left on him for 5 days, urine and feces were never cleaned up for the now expense of 5,520.

next day i took him home, he was a mess, he still had a fever and was in alot of pain, he cried all the way home..

i gave my dog all his medications and antibiotics for the 5 days he was last with me..

every day got worse his pain esclated and he was straightening his front paws crying and trying to say something.

by friday of that week his breathing was difficult for him, henbecame very congested and i called the facility, the surgeon spoke to me and told me to take him to my other vet since she had no time and was going int another surgery..i explained she did his surgery, i was 3 mo new from out of state and she never did a post op visit.  Her annoyed words were to just take him to emergency.

A friend came with ane we rushed in the front emergency and just waited while my dog could not breathe any more i begged for help and oxygen for my dog, not only was my dogs treatment abusive  so was min as his owner.my dog was finally put on oxygen.

another vet came to talk to me and said his brain may have been affected to consider euthanization..never discused further testin although that was in the report a week later when i picked up the report.an additional 271.56 for his ending was charged before they could go ahead with anything.

the strange thing is when a nurse carried him out to the "special Room" he lifted his head for the first time in a week.i asked the nurse and she would not answer why this happened. i would not have done this .. this is by far the most horrific and mortifying experience of my life. i want justice i was totally victimized
