Palm Partners Crroks and Fraud Delray Beach Florida
Palm Partners is a drug and alcohol treatment center in Delray Beach Fl. I went there for a 90 day treatment program for alcohol abuse. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had 6 additional treatments left of radiation therapy. They reassured my husband and I that they would facilitate the remaining amout of radiation treatments as soon as I registered and was admitted for treatment. Long story short, they never set up my radiation treatments. I expressed my concern to my husband. He drove down to the facility where I was and confronted the counselor who was making the arrangements. The Director , Richard, joined the meeting withe me, my husband the counselor (Stephanie).While we were all together, my husband called the facility (N. Broward Hospital) he put the hospital on speaker. They had never heard from Stephanie or anyone associated with Palm Partners for an appt. Stephanie lied. It took my husband to make the appointment for me while we were sitting there all together. I had by then missed 21 days of radiation therapy. They kept me in the Detox facility for 25 vdays before my next radiation treatment.
In Detox there isn't any treatment programs to participate in. I sat in a bedroom (with the exception of meals) for 24 days watching television. They then transferred me to another location where treatment programs were administered. I was there for 10 days. There were drugs being tossed over the fence for the other clients and there was sex going on between the clients. The staff knew and it was tolerated by the staff and administration. Because of the neglect of my treatment and put way behind schedule for my radiation therapy, my husband came to the facility unexpectedly and brought me home. The total stay was 35 days. We paid them cash for 90 days upfront totaling ($47,000.00). We have attempted many many times to speak to the director and he refuses to take our calls.
Hence, it will now go into an attorneys representation on my behalf to collect the money they owe us. We also have a statement from Brian Woodside stating that if I was not at all pleased with the treatment facility, We would be refunded the amount due us if I didn't complete the 90 days. That has not happened.
