Pay Day Loan Resource Center Another Rip Off By This Company: Unauthorized Charges on Checking Account Phoenix Arizona
This company first CREDITED my account with .04 to make sure they had a valid account and then turned around the same day and debited the .04 and another 7.99.
Calls to their 877# on the ACH debit put you on indefinite hold. Attempts to "cancel" the service they bill for that you never signed up for yield a "fatal error" message on the internet. When you finally get a supposed representative via "live chat" they stall as long as they can to avoid canceling their bogus "service" for ironically ID THEFT! They state they won't refund past fees or any overdraft fees you are charged due to their fraud. Oddly enough they keep telling you that you have to file a claim of ID Theft with the police and send them a copy of the report according to their "terms of service" and then they will trace who applied and refund all the money. So they are supposed to be protecting you against ID theft the entire time they are committing it!
Your only recourse is to report the unauthorized access to your account to your state's banking authority as well as law enforcement.
Fortunately I bank with Bank of America who responds quickly in reversing these charges.
