This pedi paws isnt the real thing, its an imitation of the real PEDI CURE, that is the one we first seen on Television, then suddenly we see this PEDI PAWS, Who knew? I brought mine home tried it on my Chow Chow and yeah right it doesnt work at all!

It's just an emory board on a cheaply made wheel and it burns due to the quick spinning of the wheel, and if it could or does get to the nerves on your animal it will burn the nerves not just the toe nails and it hurts them. My dog was devistated and it stunk. After just trying it for a few seconds the emory board was no good (of course you get and extra one and can order 12 more for 9.99) and it didnt do anything for my poor dogs nails but make them burn, he was just torcherd by this fake!!

I was watching TV and I seen the comercial of Pedi Cure and it even states at the end of the comercial now BEWARE OF IMITATIONS I dont believe that was there when the product first came out, but it is now. You can look at the way the two are made just watching the comercial and see the differance in the wheels and the way they are used, they show the Pedi Cure is made with a better machine and you would just be amazed at the difference. LOOK NEXT TIME!! We definitly got ripped off on this one. So buyers beware it is FAKE.

As far as getting ripped off fortunitly I bought mine in the store in Red Bluff Ca, it said on the box AS SEEN ON TV, I assumed it was the same one and bought it, I got home and opened it, and it was worthless and a bad experience for my dog. I took it back. Im sorry for you all that ordered it on TV.

Not really a rip-off

Technically this isn't a rip-off. You know that anytime some new product comes out and is advertised on TV, other companies are quick to put out a copycat in hopes of garnering some of that market. PediPaws is CHEAPER than Peticure. You get what you pay for! PediPaws is less than HALF the price of Peticure. You should have done your homework, paid attention to the product you were buying. If you're so easily fooled by the "As Seen On TV" brand, then you need to look closer. PediPaws is ALSO offered on TV. An even better idea is to get yourself a Dremel. That's what people like me have been using to trim dog's nails for years and years, long before any of these gadgets came out...and the Dremel is exactly what the Peticure and PediPaws are modeled after. You can get a Dremel pet nail trimmer for about $25.00 at Lowe's, Home Depot, Meijer, Target...whatever. Much better made and well worth the money.
