Complaint Review: Philip Taylor And Brad Morgan - Liberia Internet

I recieved the following email on Dec. 27, 2006

"From Phillip Taylor.

Dear Friend,

I want you to go into a venture with me as my Partner in this transaction by helping me and claim this package/consignment worth US$15m which my cousin(Charles Taylor Former President of Liberia)deposited with a Company in U.S.A. for Safe Keeping. Your share will be 20% out of the total sum,and then the remaining 80% will be for me, if I receive your mail indicating your willingness, I will give you more details about the transaction. Also in your response, include the following information: Your full name, Home/Mailing address, and Your private phone number.

Curious, I emailed him back wanting details.

He replied with:

"Dear ******,

I received your mail and i am also happy that you are willing to assist me.

Here is the contact of the person you will get in touch in the Security Company(Global Shipping Agency) for the delivery of the consignment.

Name: Mr. Harry Marvin

Email address: [email protected]

Please, email him immediately and find out from him what it will take to get the consignment to your home.

I will send to you my ID and Passport later today via e-mail attachment.

I will be waiting to hear from you soon.

So I emailed him and this is what I get Alycia McGee,

RE: CONSIGNMENT DUE FOR DELIVERY.

This is to notify you about the delivering of consignment which your partner(Mr. Phillips Taylor) has instructed me to deliver to you. But it will be as soon as i received the sum of $1,170 which you will wire to me via MoneyGram to with the information which i will give you.

BELOW IS THE PAYMENT STATUS:

DEMURRAGE---$500

COURIER CHARGES--$300

INSURANCE--$150

ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE-$50

VAT--$100

Handling Charges-$70

TOTAL---$1,170

Send the $1,170 with this info below:

As soon as you make the payment, you should provide me with the payment information such as the Sender's name and address and also the MoneyGram Reference numbers.

Philip Taylor tried to get me to believe this and even sent "Certificates" His ID and Passport. I spoke with him on yahoo and this is how it went:

This is an EXACT copy of the conversation.. except I changed my yahoo name. As you can see, he even propositioned me.

Watch out for these guys!

I want to report them to the proper authorities but I'm not sure who I should start with. If you have any info on how to do that, let me know.
