PI Agent Pi-agentpi-agent.com SCAM COMPANY SALES FAKE PRIVATE INVESTIGATIVE SOFTWARE. CONSUMERS BEWARE. Redondo Beach California
Back in November 2013 I ordered their software (PI Agent 2.0) which stated in their website is designed by private investigators with more than 20 years of experience ( I am a private investigator and was looking for a program to manage cases). After I received the activation codes (the program is on their SQL server) and got into the program, I noticed that the program first of all looked like a 5 year old made it, then I started adding cases in the program and noticed that it was crashing, not accepting files, and basically not wotking as stated. I contacted pi-agent.com through their contact page and the next day I received an email stating thet "The program is fine and I should take computer classes" (I have a bachelors in computer science) so when they told me that I respectfully requested a refund and their reply was "Not a chance in ****". So at this point I realized that I am not dealing with professionals or professional private investigators so I initiated a dispute with paypal to get my money back, suffice to say, paypal did not give me a refund because the purchase was an electronic trtansaction and not a physical transaction. A day later, they kicked me out of their SQL server and could not use the program anymore (not that I was EVER going to use it again) but due to the principal of the matter I emailed them demanding a refund or reentry into the program. Their response was that I already initiated a paypal dispute and got closed in their favor so they are keeping the money AND banning me out of their servers.
In a nutshell, PLEASE BEWARE and DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE, it is not worth the money and if you do use this software and store SENSITIVE information such as social security numbers, DOBs etc they will steal that information and I will bet my 10+ investigative career on it with the way they treated me and a simple transaction made to a transaction from hell.
They are not private investigators, they were never private investigators and they will never be private investigators. The are scam artists with a non working unprofessional program that a 5 year old made.

If you as say have the emails then you would see the emails i received and sent because obviously you dont because if you did you wouldnt finisg by saying "if" i am a customer or a competitor, you would know that I was a customer and you guys banned me from your servers, isnt that true? After i filed the oaypal dispute you guys revoked my access when i tried to log in and was told that because i filed the dispute and was inyour favor because it was an electronic transaction and not a physical transaction you didnt even refund me the money and banned me out. Best software out there? The best software out there for PI businesses is SCOUT or Case Point made by REAL PIs and no I am not advertising for them but your so called PI program that crashes and is totally fake is a scam. Best software out there, really? h*o tell that to kindergarten not to real PIs!!

First of, i also have all the emails. second, i was told that the company changed ownership since the first PI agent got launched, as far as waiting for 2 years, i did not know this website existed. You treat your customers with respect? I wish i could post the emails over here and everybody will see what kind of scam artists you are. As far as the screenshots, what are screenshots going to tell the consumer? Nothing!!! And isnt it true that there are other companies out there that said yhe same thing I am saying? All you have to do is use google. It is what it is, i am just telling people to not buy your product bevause yes, a 5 year old made it or even yet, a 5 year old can do a better job.

Hello customer. First of all, if you purchased in 2013, why would you wait 2 years to post on this site? Secondly, our company NEVER said that "you should take computer classes" or "not a chance in hell", and never would we say anything close to that. That is completely untrue. We store all of our emails since the company started and I have just reviewed all correspondences after November 2013 just to be sure, and there was nothing even remotely close to that statement that was said. We respond to all customer emails with respect, no matter what, and we always do everything we can to help if people have questions. Thirdly, if you think our software was designed by a "5 year old" as you say, feel free to to have a look for yourself on our website at our software screenshots. We are proud of our software design, and we are always releasing updates to improve on our design. Fourthly, We have no idea what you mean by us locking you out of SQL server. We do not have the ability to manipulate SQL server on your computer. Can you post a screenshot proving this? But that begs the question, if you hated the software so much, why would you want to continue to use it? Fifthly, yes our software can store sensitive information, as with any PC program, however it is not required, and we do not store any of your sensitive information If you say that we are stealing personal information as you claim, then please provide a police report or some kind of proof. Our optional PI Cloud service can store data on our servers, but it is all encrypted to the password that you create. We couldn't view PI Cloud data on our side even if we wanted to. This really sounds like a bunch of lies and misleading info, maybe written by a competitor, however if you are legitimately a customer of ours, and do need help with your software, please contact us and we will do everything we can do help you out.
As for other people reading this, please note we have been in business for a long time, and we NEVER treat customers with disrespect. Our software is by far the best out there, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
