Piri Nursery Piri Nursery And Landscaping Mr Piri And Jenny Sanchez Do Not let the Nursery name fool you they sell very expensive Canary Palms that are VERY SICK!!! Hialeah Florida
On 12/5/2008 Jenny Sanchez of Piri Nursery and I agreed on the purchase of a Canary Palm for $1500 + tax with an extended warranty of 6 months. They were offering a three month warranty, which of course is useless in most cases since sick Canary palms take a while to develop symptoms and much longer to finally die. This particular palm was so sick that within a month I had called Mr Piri to look at the signs showing the palm had Fusarium Wilt.I also showed him literature and photos of the disease which has no treatment or cure. I asked for my money back. His response was that he did not "believe in scientists" yet that he would bring me a new palm if this one got worse. It did, so next visit Mr Piri told me the palm actually had to lose all the leaves to then grow them back!!! I told him I wanted my money back. Mr Piri and Jenny Sanchez repeatedly promised to plant me another palm at the start and later switched to will give your money back and pick up our palm. None of this has happened and the palm leaves keep wilting and creating a danger with their huge thorns specially to our children.
