i work for a pizza hut and let me tell you john , that not all employees in the fast food business are incompetent. As a matter of fact , many of my fellow employees have college edcuations. It is not true that only mangers have acess to credit card reciepts, any employee that cashed them out could have changed that reciept! So don't think you are so high and mighty .You have never worked for this company and until you do , don't assume that you know how they run things. Every employee that I work with is honest and my manager is terrific . I can say though that if this ever happened at our pizza hut the problem would have been fixed. Don't knock the pizza hut name over one dishonest employee at one store.

I'd like to say that all fast food places have pretty incompetent staffs, and what happened to you could be made out to be an accident as well as someone stealing. To let you know, only managers can add tips to credit card machine, so either it was written in before hand or manager could have accidently added this to yours. These people make minimum wage and a lot of them could be criminals too. This really has nothing to do with Pizza Hut, but much to do with all the fast food industry. It just happens that it was a Pizza Hut that obtained the said employee. On something like this issue I would contact the Area Manager, as they don't get there position by screwing around with customers. Everyone below a Pizza Area Manager is hit or miss. A Pizza Hut Manager makes less 30k a lot of the time. They are sheep just like the rest of the staff. You also have to relize that a lot of the customers for Pizza Hut like to scam, and the managers have to filter through all the bullshit customers to get things done.

Well John, I would go ahead & File a FRAUD COMPLAINT with your Credit Card company. I would also forward this info on to Pizza Hut corporate & the local store. This isnt Fraud, it is THEFT !!! This person STOLE $4.00 from you. While the amount may be small, it is still WRONG. I have seen this before & I will fight it very aggresively. Also please let me know what location did this as I also order in Fort Worth at times & want to watch for it more closely....
