First of all my husband and I are apart of the VIP Membership where you pay $14.99 and then you have to order atleast 2 pizzas per month to get a free pizza and special coupons. One of these special coupons are a free size order which is either cinnastix or breadstix. We always order cinnastix because they are my favorite. On this particular occasion that i'm sending this report about we ordered cinnastix and apart of our free size order.

On a previous occasion we ordered cinnastix but got breadsticks instead and they had to come out and deliver the cinnastix instead. That was mentioned because I would like you guys to know what service we had before.

Anyhow, we got our order and after they delivered the cinnastix (after the delivery driver left) I realized the cinnastix were hard as bricks!!!! We ordered approximately one hour before closing because when I looked up to call them to get fresh cinnastix it was 12 midnight pass closing time.

I called back anyway and a guy said to call back later after the store opens again. I called back and then I have a hard time explaining to the workers and the manager that I ordered previously and want to get fresh cinnastix.

A guy tells me that the delivery driver is not there because his car broke down and that he would have the next delivery driver that comes in at 5pm deliver our cinnastix.

My husband and I notice that it was 5:35pm so we decided to call back the Pizza Hut to check and see if the driver would be bringing the cinnastix. I spoke to a worker (who by the way couldn't speak English or pretended like he couldn't) said "I'm not sure what you talking about" "what you say" ????

So I just gave up and said let me please speak to a Manager. The manager (who wasn't any better) said that a driver delivered the cinnastix already........Um...to what adress I said because if he did I wouldn't be calling.

He insists that the driver delivered the cinnastix and then accuses me of trying to get free cinnastix. I then calmly informed him that how can I try to get free cinnastix when I have the old cinnastix still here???? He then had to try to use another defense and asked me to hold on the line while he looked at my account??? He then comes back on the line and says that we get free orders every month and that is not right. !!!! At this point I had to just laugh because what he failed to realize is that we are VIP customers and to qualify you have to order 2 large pizzas a month and therefore we get a free large pizza. Besides if I did get free orders that means that someone on your staff is not doing something right.....you try calling your local Pizza Hut and say I'd like to order you to give me free pizza (without a coupon) and see what they say.

At this point I called the 800 customer service line and make a complaint....and should be recieving a call from the District Manager in a few days...(hopefully that goes well and I can clear this matter up). At this moment I am waiting for them to deliver my cinnastix for the 3rd time....I guess the saying "Nothing in life is free" is right because even when you are supposed to be getting a deal the free stuff you get is not the same quality as if you paid for it.

Don't become a VIP Customer with Pizza Hut because the free items you get will not be the same quality as the paid for items. Unless you remember to request fresh from the oven EVERY TIME!!! Only at the Pizza Hut on 13318 New Hampsire Ave in Silver Spring Maryland

I agree with you that Pizza Hut is dishonorable.

Not only do they treat their good customers in this manner (while bending over backwards for the bad) but their employees are treated in the same disrespectful manner on a regular basis. You should boycott your local pizza hut. The food at all pizza huts isn't very healthy. It's full of sodium, fat and preservatives. You should learn to cook for yourself or switch to a reputable company such as Papa Johns or better yet, I know that you've got to have a locally owned Italian Pizza place nearby. They tend to treat their customers and employees in a more appropriate fashion. Their ingredients in their food is a much higher quality than what pizza hut gets off the truck. I'm just wondering if you complain on a regular basis, though. It sounds to me, like the employees at this pizza hut had it in for you. If you didn't tip your driver on his return trip, then I'm sure they will in the future. Don't forget that your food is in a car with a driver and there's no one around to see if he/she/it decides to do something to your food. I've actually seen fellow employees spit on food inside the store because the pizza was being delivered to a non tipper. I don't mean to scare you, but you need to be aware of this. Managers know that this happens. You always have the option of picking up the food yourself. Pizza delivery is a luxury, not a service. If it were convenient for you to pick-up the food yourself then you would. In closing, I would just like to say that the best thing to do is to never eat at a pizza hut again. Pizza hut is the most underhanded company that I've ever had the displeasure of being involved with.
