Complaint Review: Platinum Entertainment Group LLC - Las Vegas Nevada

This report is in response to the fraudulent and slanderous report made by the Film Monkey Studios   Film Monkey Weddings  Christopher Portman   Rebecca Portman.

I am the owner of Platinum Entertainment Group LLC. And we were hired by Film Monkey Studios   Film Monkey Weddings  Christopher Portman   Rebecca Portman, to shoot a few weddings this past spring.  

The last weekend we worked for them, myself and two other working professional cameramen, who wook for me occasionally, covered those last two weddings. We were supposed to be paid the following week following the wedding, and then we upload the footage from the weddings.  It took well over two months to collect partial payments on those weddings.

The payments were made through our Square App, for invoicing and processing credit cards, and the proof is there that it took over two months for us to collect partial payments. 

After all payments were finally caught up for those last two weddings, we did upload all the footage from the last two weddings we shot. And it would seem that they have lost the footage from one of those last two weddings.  These people have been incredibly rude and difficult to deal with.  And as you can guess with taking over two months to pay the independent contractors, when payment was promised the week following the event, their business is not run very well.  We made arrangements with them to sign a document to dissolve our relationship, in which we would also re-upload the last wedding footage again, they signed the doucment, (which we have) and at the very same time we get a notice from Square that we were being charged-back the funds for not only that last wedding, but every wedding we shot for them in total!!! 

Which is exactly an example of how ridiculous these people and this company is...  Not only that, but a fraudulent BBB report and an e-mail from them that they put a warrant for my arrest, when I contacted the local police I found that to be another false claim by them.

I have a ton of evidence to support my defence, as well as testimony from the other two professional cameramen who shot the wedding in question...

Additionally, i have the e-mail from them  Film Monkey Studios   Film Monkey Weddings  Christopher Portman   Rebecca Portman, sent to the groom of that last wedding, telling him the footage was damaged, and they sent it to data recovery to try to save it, but it was lost forever, etc... When the groom has communication with us and knows we still have copies of the footage...  And he is now fighting with them...

We have been working professionals for over 20 years and never had a complaint.

Yesterday I checked with the better business bureau, and found that there is not a complaint against us.  Another lie from the Film Monkeys (Chris Portman and Rebecca Portman)

I called the Attorney Generals office, and found there is no complaint against us.  Another lie from the Film Monkeys (Chris Portman and Rebecca Portman)

I called Las Vegas Metro police and found that there is no police report against us. Another lie from the Film Monkeys (Chris Portman and Rebecca Portman)  They also said, filing a false report would be a felony crime, so if they did, they could be in alot of trouble. 

So, you can see the pattern of many lies, and that it is them that you would really not want to do business with. 

If you Yahoo search them you will find complaints against them.

If you Yelp search them you will find complaints against them.

We don't have any other complaints except these lying individuals.

We have been in business for over 20 years without complaint like this.  

The document they signed to dissolve our business relationship specifically included that neither party lodge complaints or further issues against one another, and as you can see, we have this complaint that was done after, but also the credit card chargeback that charged back not only the wedding in question; but every wedding that we did for them.  Which is absolutely ridiculous.

We are currently waiting on news of the chargeback issue.

Depending on outcome of chargebacks, we will be taking this to court.  We have many witnesses to this, and alot of documentation to prove our side.  As our credit card merchant (Square) has said, we can prove our side...

Please view this notice as a hostile, fraudulent complaint from a disgruntled co-worker, contractor...
