I bought a used boat February 6, 2016. The salesman Jesse Jesup told me the boat was in good running order and they had checked the compression. I was told the compression was 123 on both cylinders. I had it checked after i had issues with not being able to get the boat off the trailer on 2/20/16. The compresssion wa 130 on top and 120 on bottom. The main problem is the lower unit which houses all the gears is out. My wife and i went to the river to try the boat out on 2/20/16. I got it cranked and put it in reverse to back off the trailer, it would not move but revved up like it was in neutral. I put it in forward and it would not move up on the trailer. I carried it to a technician and he advised the lower unit for sure was out and cost of repair could reach a 1000.00 dollars depending on damage.

I contacted Jesse and he asked "what you want to do about it"? I told him i wanted it repaired. He said"bring it on in next week i dont have a technician on duty today". I told him it would be end of the week. On Friday 2/26/26 I take the boat in to Polaris of Gainsville. It takes me three and a half hours to drive the distance. I meet with Jesse and he takes me to the GM Tom McNamara who informs me they will pay 50 percent of the repairs which i declined and advised them they were responsible for all the repairs because the boat was torn up when i bought it. They offered to take the boat on a trade. I told him " Do you expect me to trade with you after you just ripped me off"? He was flippant about the whole ordeal. I waited an hour and half to meet with the owner Mike, whom i didnt get a last name. He would not make it good either. Told me i had a 50/50 warranty and then told me i bought the boat as is. I told him no one informed me of that! I have read reviews where they rip people off frequently. I have bought a boat and now i have to put another thousand dollars or so to get it running. I have never dealt with a company that will not stand behind their product or name.

All i want is for them to accept repsonsibility and repair the motor at no charge to me. That is fair and eithical.
