I bought an indoor BH bike from www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk on 1/6/2015, after I assembled I realised I did not actually like it, so I phoned them up to report this the next day.
I phoned powerhouse to ask if I can return the unused bike they said no, they will not refund me the money as I have assembled it. I told them I had to assemble it first as it came in lots of pieces. Powerhouse insisted that if it has been assembled they will not accept a refund.
I phoned UK citizens advice and they said I have 14 days to cancel my agreement with this company even though I have assembled it. Powerhouse doesn’t want to know and are ignoring all my communication. I have tried to email them with the email address on their website they have not replied. I phoned them and they said that there is nothing I can do; they will not allow me to return.
Citizen’s advice bureau said powerhouse are not confirming to distance selling regulations act and in breach themselves.
When you research powerhouse fitness uk reviews uk trustpilot.com is now only ranking the site 3 out of 5 stars. This clearly shows that hundreds of customers like me are being given a bad and unfair service.
I am only a low earning father of 2 I can’t afford to lose £300 for a purchase like this, it's just not fair!
