Considering what a pain in the butt it is to file this complaint, I can't believe there are still hundreds of complaints against PPC. This "company", assuming they are in fact a company and not some computer nerd sitting in his parent's basement collecting fraudulent money through a P.O. scam - which it certainly appears to be, installed malware onto my home computer that hijacked my internet connection and dialed the U.K. without my knowledge.

Don't bother calling the number they suggest calling if you have a problem - they won't answer. Don't bother contesting the charges through the channels they suggest - they'll send you a form letter with your name added (my form letter actually said Dear Customer) as the highly skilled customer-servant forgot to erase the "customer" and include my name in his haste after thoroughly "reviewing" my claim (in about 10 minutes).

The entire premise of this company is to find ways around the law, ie. using unblocked international numbers rather than 900 numbers that are frequently blocked, using an undisclosed intermediary to install viruses onto personal computers to force payments to themselves. Their website is nothing but a ruse scaring people into paying to avoid a damaged credit record. They try to legitmize their "services" with big words, when in fact it's nothing but a porno site and hackers installing auto-dialers.

DO NOT be lead to believe that you voluntarily opted to install malicious adware onto your personal computer and dial the U.K. for $7.00 per minute.

Personally, my internet connection failed at the time the calls were made. After finding "TIBS" in my internet connections it was erased and my computer has had virus trouble ever since, including cancelling my internet service after spending hours on the phone attempting to repair it.

This is nothing but telecommunications and postal fraud - do not send money to this fraudulent P.O. box

I'm hoping that this will bloom into a class-action lawsuit setting an example for porn-peddling, virus-creating scumbags like PPC and their affiliates.

My phone company was receptive and so was USBI. Ignore (but file) any correspondence from PPC.
