My name is Dawn and I, like many of you have received calls from a company by the name of Prime One Finacial. The lady was named Debby. She told me that I was eligible to receive a credit card in the amount of 1000.00. All I had to do was give her more info. She told me that I had to give them a set up fee of 187.00 by electronic draft from my checking account. She stated that I could change the draft date as long as it was within 2 days of the draft date.

I called 3 days before and was told by Charmane that it was already scheduled to draft that night. I asked about a refund and was told that no refund could be given until they received the paperwork back from me which I will not receive for at least 20 days after the conformation from my bank was received. I asked to speak to a supervisor and there was no one I could talk to. I requested that a manager or supervisor return my call and never got that call. I am mad and I want my money back. It has been 1 1/2 months since the draft and I still have not seen the package they were supposed to send..

To anyone that thinks getting a credit card over the phone is a good thing and some of them may be. But, you can always check with the better business bureau in the area of the caller. I did not do that this time and now I am out 187.00 and will never trust any one again..I am also going to contact an attorney to see about stopping these kinds of people.

WELL, IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 5 YEARS AND I HAVE STILL NOT SEEN THE REFUND OF MY 187.00 THAT THIS COMPANY TOOK FROM ME. I HAVE CONTACTED SEVERAL ATTORNEY'S AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAVE STIPULATIONS IN THE FINE PRINT AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE PAPER WORK. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY PAPER WORK SO THERE WAS NO FINE PRINT FOR ME TO READ. THIS COMPANY ALONG WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY WHO WANTS TO GIVE YOU CREDIT. IF YOU HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT FEE'S AND ANY ANNUAL FEE'S, IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I WILL NEVER HAVE A CREDIT CARD AGAIN. WHY SHOULD I PAY SOMEONE TO BE ABLE TO SPEND MY MONEY AND WHY SHOULD I PAY INTEREST FEES ON MY MONEY? I DON'T AND I WON'T!!!!!!! I WOULD ADVISE ANY AND EVEY ONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO CHECK WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BEFORE ACCEPTING ANY AGREEMENTS. GOOD LUCK..

Received packet - still a ripoff - be aware

Not long after I sent the letter to the rip off report, I received the packet that Prime One Financial was to send. This was a joke and I was still mad and upset about them taking my money. I called the company again and spoke to a lady there named Charmaine-she stated that it will take 10-12 weeks to get my refund. I told her that was rediculas-it didn't take them 10-12 weeks to take my money from my checking account. The next 3 days were horrible trying to figure out what to do--I finally got it--no not my money back but, a possible solution. I typed a letter to them and treated them with the same attitude they gave me. I sent the package back to them by certified mail. It cost me 7.86 but at least now I know who signed for it and, In a week or 2 I will call them again if I haven't received my refund and get my attorney involved. I will never trust any credit company again--IF I CAN'T PAY CASH I DON'T NEED IT !!!!!!!!! I suggest you do the same..
