I would like to provide clarity and supporting facts that the statements included in this report are not communicated truthfully. While many people have challenges making timely payments, Prime Group does offer a variety of payment options (to include auto payment, online payments as well as in store payments) cash, credit, checks and debit cards can be used.
Storage customers who do not pay rental fees monthly may have to forfeit their space in order to settle the debt owed as was the case here. Prior to any space getting to that point our staff works tirelessly to contact the customer, offer payment solutions and emergency terms. Also all of our associated fees are in line with state statutes written to provide remedy's for self-storage owners.
In this case the customer chose to not pay for the rental services provided, didn’t work with the store manager that was offering options to avoid the online auction and purchased his belongings for an amount that was 20 times less than what was owed. Prime Group has continued to demonstrate our ability to eagerly work with our customers and will do so going forward. At Prime Group we feel we offer a great value renting space at our facilities verses our competition; National, Regional or local storage companies.
The remaining items in this report are not noteworthy to respond to, we do not wish to engage in name calling or making unfounded comments regarding TV shows that never aired.
