Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was contacted by a representative from Primerica not too long ago. I was confused initially, because even though I had been looking for a new job... I had never applied for a position with Primerica. In fact, I had never even heard or read about the company before.

In my quest to find a new job, I decided to go down for the "interview". The interview wasn't really an interview at all... They didn't ask me one thing about myself or how I would fit in to their company. Rather, they began trying to sell me on Primerica... Telling me that I could be a manager and "build my own business". They immediately wanted me to provide them with names ("references") of people that we could "help" become debt free or even offer them a job with Primerica. (Thank God I didn't) I thought it was wierd that they didn't want personal references to see if I was a good person for the job or not.

Still intrigued, I decided to attended the orientation and some meetings. The meetings did not discuss financing or debt at all. Rather, it was focused on recruiting... Getting more and more people to come down there. They encouraged us to get out there and even talk to strangers to come down and check them out. What legitimate company would want strange people right off the streets coming in and working for them? Red flag indeed.

I was even sucked in so far as to pay the $199 licensing fee... Money I never saw again (and I didn't even end up taking the licensing class). Their weekly meetings held in the evenings were all about teaching people methods of getting recruits down. Their main idea they kept stressing was to be vague with people..... "Don't tell them too much, or they won't come down." Red flag again... Wouldn't you want people to know exactly what your business is about before they come down? To be honest with you... They never even told me what their business was about -- It was all RECRUITING!

The Saturday classes held in the morning were more like a cult meeting. They always had chanting, music playing in the background, people were always cheering and slapping high-fives with everyone... And the sole purpose of the meeting was to report how many new people they had gotten for the week. Never once did they discuss how they helped a family get out of debt.

It took me some wasted time and $199 to realize Primerica is a scam. Please be aware of all of this if you are contacted by a "recruiter" telling you they want to train you to be a manager to "build your own business". What legitimate company do you know that charges YOU money to work for them? And I have never heard of a company hiring solely on recruiting. If this was a real legit company... Wouldn't people be contacting the company and asking to send their resumes to them, not the other way around? Thank goodness for this site..... It truly helped me open my eyes!

Hope This Helps Someone Out There!

Just some additional information -- I attending a "conference" where one of Primerica's top guys spoke. I was completely shocked and disgusted what his motivational comments were... He began to say some pretty big stereotypes about Jews. He said "You never see a poor Jew, because they control the money. Jews are the bankers." I immediately thought this was racist and I imagine my face revealed my feelings, because the speaker then tried to cover up what he was saying (I was sitting right in front of him)... He stated "I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that... It's just that Jews know how to use their money and make money work for them. You'd never see a poor Jew. You'd never see a Jew working in a factory." I thought these statements were outrageous... But what was even more appalling is that no one around me was finding anything wrong with what he was saying. He almost had brainwashed them... He began asking, "How many of you know a Jew that works with their hands." He started to laugh... and then the others began to as well. After that... I knew Primerica could not be a legit company! In addition, that is when I began to pick up on some cult-like vibes!

Thanks Vicki for recounting your experiences, The PFS people are on their heels. Day after day this company gets exposed for what actually takes place. Deception! To use a quote from Vicki's experience at the meeting. "Don't tell them too much, or they won't come down." What more need be said. It gives one an idea of what even Primerica people inside think. Its Primerica's M.O. But now thanks to people giving their honest experience on this web-site, they won't get away with it. To PFS people: this is what you'll have to deal with whilte trying to recurit people and trying to sell them. -To be "successful" you'll have to cloak your business in deception, way to go. -Risk having your deception discovered by people veiwing this website. -If you're an honest person you won't last long, because you'll be surrounded by deception at meetings, builder schools etc.. and so will anybody you recruit. The choice is yours, but to me its obvious, if you do this business after reveiwing the complaints filed here you need a checkup from the neckup. Regards
