They cannot harm your company's credit. They are asking you for proof you mailed it back. Ask them for proof you ever received the item they claim you ordered. Ask them for proof that you ordered the item? They will give you your DOB as proof, but it doesn't prove anything. Just a note, that supposed collection agency is another phoney company they set-up to intimidate people like you. Call your CC company TONIGHT and dispute the charges. Go to your boss and tell them you were scammed and that you never ordered the newsletter they sent. Write them a letter and tell them you never ordered the newsletter and if they continue with their collection efforts you will report them to their state attorney general's office, the BBB and the US Postal Service for mail and wire fraud. I guarantee once you do, they will leave you alone and you will never hear from them again.
