Progressive Insurance ripped us off
We were given a Auto Quote over telephone. We were told that they quote would not change.. We gave all necessary information regarding auto quote. We were told that this amount would not change. We paid 250.00 over the phone charged to our Credit Card. When we finally got the policy, it was $500 more than the quote, We decided to cancel. They charged us 81%. They never cancelled the policy and continued charging us. They advertise that they would give you the lowest rate that anyone could give.
My grievance is they failed to cancel us and continued to charge us for insurance when we already had paid for our auto insurance from another company. We sent them $457 they took $218 of that money for 10 days/ I feel they ripped us off. I was told they could take up 83% of our money.
