I have FINALLY gotten my refund from the Gravitts. It took an act of congress but I did finally get it. I have been raising dogs for years now and it is these people who give reputable breeders a bad reputation. While I did get my refund I would be glad to be of any help that I can to those of you who have been ripped off. I reccommen that you stay away from the Gravitts in Talihina Oklahoma! Their morals are more that just a bit questionable and they use exceses such as your puppy died, their sick child and multiple excuses of the wife's illnesses as a deterrant to refunding the money sent on a puppy. Hi, I also have had an ongoing scam problem with Ron and Melody Gavitt (actually Melody told me her name was Brandy Gavitt), I am out of $1000 with no puppy and have been given endless excuses. I know everybody's information is stricktly confidental on this site, but before I file my own complaint on this website, I would like to know how I could contact the person above who wrote this complaint about the Gavitts (Amanda from Meridian, Mississippi)? I am going to wait 2 more days to get my money back from the Gavitt's and if I don't get my money which I know will happen, I am planning on sueing them and would like to know if Amanda from Meridian would like to join me. Thank you in advance!

Do yourself a BIG favor and go to your local animal shelter/ASPCA and adopt a dog who is on "Doggie Death Row". You will spend a LOT less money and get 10,000 times in return of love and affection. These dogs sense that you pulled them out of dire circumstances and will be grateful til they take their last breath! This also applies to ANYONE who is contemplating getting a dog from breeders/pet stores/puppy mills. The animals at shelters NEED you, ASAP. Also, make sure they are spayed/neutered and have one of those microchips in case they get lost. Too many good pets are available at shelters to waste your time/money at a puppy mill.
